In January 1999, Ralph Roberson presented a paper regarding EPA's Mercury Information Collection Request (ICR) at the Electric Utilities Environmental Conference in Tucson. In has been brought to RMB's attention that the paper (as opposed to the Tucson presentation) does not state that the requirement for paired sampling trains was deleted from the final OMB-approved ICR. Please note that the approved ICR does require simultaneous sampling at the inlet and outlet to the final air pollution control device, but does not require paired sampling trains to be used. RMB's apologizes for any confusion that may have resulted from this lack of specificity.
